Please note that water levels on the Rhine continue to be at such a level that Low Water stays applicable for all depots.
Therefore, if you have containers booked and planned on a combined barge/truck service, these will be subject to the low water surcharge (LWS).
The applicable LWS surcharge will automatically appear on your freight invoice, without any further prior notice.
We will obviously keep you informed should anything change.
The surcharge is based on the applicable water levels and the amount is determined on the day of barge departure. If needed, applicable water levels can be provided to you per separate email or can be verified on following website:

For any new bookings it might be that we will not be able to perform your pre-carriage on barge-truck basis. In that case we will propose you an all truck alternative and let you know the extra cost. Only after your agreement booking will be confirmed.
