Be a member of a network that doesn't require you to give up existing agent relationships. We bring you people and companies in places you need reliable representation. Along the way, you might find you like your fellow GLA member over your current partner, but there's no pressure to switch.

FMC APPROVED BILL OF LADING

The GlobeTrans bill of lading is FMC approved. We are a fully licensed and bonded OTI and all shipments to and from the United States are subject to the rules of the FMC and rates and agreements must be filed in advance. GLA leadership can provide more details on this excellent member benefit.

ANNUAL MANDATORY MEETING

Once a year, all members of the GLA network are required to come together at our annual general meeting, or AGM. This is important because the confidence to do business with people in other countries can only be strengthened by having face-to-face relationships that build trust.

PROFESSIONAL STAFF

GLA is backed by professional staff in the Netherlands who support the board of directors, manage our accounting, track bills of lading and coordinate and schedule our AGM. Our staff work with our global members and know our members, helping to make introductions and solve problems when they arise.

ONE CITY, ONE MEMBER

Many networks will sell multiple members in a city or market. This competition is not helpful, but only serves to reduce trust and place one company against another to compete for the same shipment. It is not healthy for shippers and it is not healthy for our network. GLA offers only one member per market, trusting that any GLA members who have an inquiry will come to you and you alone.

YOU ARE THE LEADERSHIP

The GLA is led by our members; you make the decisions and you set the course for the group. We ensure the best possible administrative service and leadership for our members through our paid professional staff and elected Board of Directors. There are also multiple committees where members can participate and help provide leadership and new ideas for the group.
